Speaker BioDr. Ralph Thomas is Vice President Strategic Analytics and Database Marketing for Seminole Hard Rock Gaming. During his nearly 10 years in the casino industry Thomas has focused on leveraging Big Data analytics to maximizing profitability. He has operated under dual roles as both a developer of BI tools and a strategic business user of these tools. Prior to entering the industry Thomas spent 15 years in academia, as both a student and a lecturer of mathematics. He has 2 Master degrees in Mathematics from University of Chicago and Princeton University and a Ph.D. in Mathematics from UNLV.
